Network Box Corp., a worldwide managed security service provider, will receive advanced information from Microsoft about their monthly security bulletins to anticipate emerging threats and provide mutual customers with more timely protections. Network Box joined the Microsoft Active Protections Program, and will be provided with vulnerability information in advance of Microsoft’s monthly security update release to offer protections to customers efficiently and effectively.

Gladiator Technology, a ProfitStars solution that operates as a managed security services provider (MSSP) exclusively for financial institutions nationwide, announced its new Security Research Department. This department was created to foster the continued growth and high quality of Gladiator’s network and information security services, and to contribute to the security-related education of its credit union clients and employees.

Jetmetric, a provider of Web-based security assessment tools for IT and security auditors, announced the launch of its Social Engineering assessment tool Social PET. SocialPET is an automated email spoofing tool with easy-to-use drop-down menus.

CO-OP Financial Services, the nation’s largest credit union service organization, is collaborating with CUNA Mutual Group, a leading provider of insurance for credit unions, on CUNA Mutual’s Claims Automation Service that eliminates the need to manually submit card fraud claims. In addition to saving an estimated 15-20 minutes of administrative burden per claim, streamlining the data flow also helps eliminate misreporting caused by keying errors or missing data.
