Corelation and Lone Star CU Celebrate 50th Milestones Together

Credit union core processing vendor, Corelation and Lone Star Credit Union give new meaning to the term “50/50” with each celebrating 50th milestones. Corelation celebrates its 50th conversion with Lone Star successfully launching KeyStone over the first weekend of June, while Lone Star celebrates its 50th anniversary of serving members with financial services.



Greater Wyoming FCU Moves to Fiserv

Fiserv announced that Greater Wyoming Federal Credit Union has converted from its previous provider to the Portico software-as-a-service (SaaS) core account processing platform with integrated digital banking solutions from Fiserv. The Casper, WY-based CU has also extended an existing partnership with Fiserv for credit and debit processing.



MD|DC Credit Union Association Partners with CUCollaborate

The MD|DC Credit Union Association is partnering with CUCollaborate to provide member credit unions with a new tool to help them explore field of membership expansion opportunities. CUCollaborate launched the Web-based evaluation tool earlier this year to assist credit unions in processing the NCUA’s new field of membership rules that took effect in February.



Vidyo Helps Baxter CU Launch Video-Only Branches

Vidyo announced that Baxter Credit Union (BCU) has deployed a video banking service using Vidyo’s cloud-based video collaboration technology, with the goal of launching a number of video-only branches in 2017. BCU members use video to remotely connect face-to-face with credit union representatives and knowledge experts, from their homes, mobile devices or in-branch.

It aims to greatly improve the workflow of VMS operators, allowing them to quickly react to changing situations and to easily view video of past events and filter them by gender, age or person ID.



Dictate-Speech Recognition for Microsoft Office

Dictate is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint that uses the speech recognition behind Cortana to convert speech to text.

OwnBackup is a cloud-to-cloud backup and restore vendor that aims to provide secure, automated, daily backups of SaaS and PaaS data. 1 in 5 Consumers No Longer Carry Cash

As online commerce grows and consumers continue adopting digital payments, more merchants and consumers are also turning away from cash. One-in-five (20%) consumers say they currently are not carrying any cash in their wallet, and nearly half (46%) say they rarely or never use cash for making purchases.

Redwood City, CA-based Elastic Beam has launched a security solution designed to detect and block cyberattacks targeting application programming interfaces (APIs). The company’s flagship product, API Behavioral Security (ABS), is an engine that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to detect threats in real time. Data from ABS is sent to the API Security Enforcer (ASE) to block the attack and prevent the attacker from reconnecting.
