Dell Expands Apex Cloud and On-Prem Storage Options
Dell's Apex Multi-Cloud Data Services will provide file, block, object and data protection services for simultaneous access to all major public clouds from a single source of data. It will connect storage and data protection to preferred public clouds and services through its integration with the Apex Console. They will also extend their storage portfolio with Project Alpine, an effort to bring Dell’s flagship block- and file-storage software to public clouds.

Experian Go Program Will Allow Credit Invisibles to Start Building Credit
Experian has launched Experian Go which they claim is the first-of-its-kind program to help “credit invisibles,” or people with no credit history, begin building credit on their own terms. Nearly 50 million consumers have a nonexistent or limited credit history. Experian says that within minutes, credit invisibles can have an authenticated Experian credit report, tradelines and a credit history by using Experian Boost, and instant access to financial offers through Experian Go.

ATM Deposits Shouldn't Be Optional
Many ATMs accept cash deposits, but sometimes the feature doesn't work due to a variety of technical issues. The author states that ATMs being out of service to accept deposits has been a problem with ATMs for a long while. He recommends that ATM deployers offer some sort of notice on the ATM that pops up if the feature is unavailable and that they invest in monitoring software that can quickly detect potential problems with the ATM remotely and identify solutions.

Apple to Let iPhones Accept Credit Cards in Threat to Square
Apple is planning a new service that will let small businesses accept payments directly on their iPhones without any extra hardware. The system will likely use the iPhone’s near field communications, or NFC, chip that is currently used for Apple Pay. It is not known if Apple intends to partner with an existing payment network for the feature or launch it alone.
H&R Block Launches Mobile Banking Platform
Tax-preparation giant H&R Block is launching its own mobile banking platform targeted at low-to-moderate-income Americans. The Spruce platform includes a spending account with a debit card, along with a connected savings account that allows for budgeting for specific goals. Users will also be able to get their pay check early, cash back rewards, credit score monitoring, and tax refund allocation.

Federal Reserve Announces FedNow Service Pricing Approach
