CU*Answers announced that $120M Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union recently executed a contract to change its existing core data processing system over to CU*BASE, the CUSO’s flagship solution. Members of the MoneyTaker group, named after a piece of custom malware it uses, have netted around $10 million in ATM heists around the globe. A new Visa survey of 1,000 Americans exploring awareness and perceptions of biometric authentication confirms that consumers continue to have a strong interest in new biometric technologies that make their lives easier. According to the Visa study conducted by AYTM Market Research, 86 percent of consumers are interested in using biometrics to verify identity or to make payments, and more than 65 percent of consumers are already familiar with biometrics.
